1. Overview

Version 2.10.0 lays the groundwork for one of Brighthive's most requested capabilities: Projects. This release also brings workspace configuration automation, improved platform observability, and continued engineering modernization to strengthen reliability under the hood.

Highlights include:

  • Projects v0: Introduced the initial foundation for Projects, giving teams a structured way to organize work and workspace context.

  • Workspace Configuration Automation: OpenMetadata configuration is now provisioned automatically for each workspace, removing manual setup steps.

  • Platform Observability: Improved visibility into backend service health, including faster detection of service-level issues.

  • Staged Feature Rollouts: New feature-flag-based route whitelisting allows safer, incremental rollout of new capabilities.

  • Engineering Modernization: Migrated core services from Pipenv to UV for faster, more reliable builds, and introduced GraphQL test tooling.
