We’re thrilled to announce the release of Version 2.6.0 of the Brighthive platform. This update introduces significant improvements across the Analyst Agent, BrightAgent, and Data Catalog, along with new integrations, UI refinements, and performance fixes.

  • Data Catalog Updates: Full-row click navigation, schema renaming for clarity, and reorganized data source hierarchy.

  • Platform Stability: Several front-end fixes and stage deployments improving reliability and overall user experience.

2. Key Enhancements and Fixes

Analyst Agent

  • Introduced MCP tool call integration for deeper agent-assisted analysis.

  • Added JupyterLab integration for in-browser interactive data exploration.

BrightAgent

  • Enhanced output display for clearer and more actionable responses.

  • Fixed chat delete redirect to keep users on the main BrightAgent screen.
    Resolved analysis tab activation issue to ensure smoother navigation.

Quality Agent

  • Improved dataset selection flow for more intuitive handoff between agents.

  • Enhanced visualization responsiveness and rendering for larger datasets.

Data Catalog

  • Made entire catalog rows clickable, not just hyperlinks.

  • Renamed “Schema” to “Data Asset Schema” for consistency.

  • Removed “Sources” section, moving Data Sources and Files directly under Connect for a cleaner structure.
